Happy Easter

We had a lovely weekend in Leavenworth and Wentachee - so fun to see both grandparents, Lucie & Luna, get our hands a little dirty in the yard and get lots of sunshine. 

We also took lots and lots of walks on the loop trail, Elise loved it!

Two months old today!

Our little love bug is two months old already; can't beleive it.  She has grown so much and is starting to show such a fun personality ~ smiling, cooing and making all kids of noises. 

Who says red heads can't wear pink!

Best Birthday EVER!!!

As life takes on new meaning with motherhood so do all the occasions that are celebrated within it.  We have had the most perfect day just enjoying our little girl, going out for a delicious breakfast (Elise slept in her carseat the whole time, a bonus) followed by browsing around Wallingford, Queen Anne and Freemont - amazing how many children's boutiques there are, almost equaling the number of coffee shops (and not just Starbucks).  The best part was our little baby photo shoot when we got home, we just can't get enough of this little one, especially when she's in her birthday suit!  Thank you for all the sweet birthday messages and wishes; I feel so blessed and fulfilled with all the frienships and family in my life. 

And it all ended with a little pee accident; worth every little bit for that dimpled little hiney!

One day of sunshine and a dozen rainy ones.

It has been raining and cold non-stop for the past several weeks, so when Friday came around, with a little bit of sunshine, we could not wait to get outside.  Evan has had Friday's off this semester which has been great and so we're able to spend a few extra days together with Elise before his exams and bar review start.  We headed over to Alki and enjoyed the sunshine and pretty Seattle views.   

Our little appartment has never felt so small as it has the past few weeks; the rain just feels like it traps us in our little bunker, but we make it work. So, this is what we do when it rains and we can't get out - have baby photo shoots ;)  Little sweat pea is growing so quickly, turns 7 weeks today!  Love our little girl.

We had to see if she would still fit into her bathing suit by the time summer came around - it will be a close call as it already seems to fit.
