Eliska, Eli, sweat pea, peanut.... we love you. You are growing right in front of our eyes. Now rolling from tummy to back, almost sitting, sticking everything in your mouth (your feet seem to be the most delicious), drooling like crazy and I think a tooth is about to pop through. You still refuse to take a bottle, yet we keep trying, but we are slowly trying avocado, sweat potatoes and bananas which you are growing to like. Sleep has not come easy for you, we all thought by now we'd have longer stretches than two hours... maybe it's time for a little ferberizing : (, daddy will have to do it. You are such a happy girl and smile all the time. This is your last month as a Seattle girl; in two weeks we will be in Wenatchee, wow! We love you more than anything in this world our sweat Elise.

First trip to the cabin
It was the perfect trip to the cabin, only thing missing was daddy! We had delicious dinners prepared by Josh, cozy fires, strawberry shortcake, walks to Fields Point and lots of fun with cousin Emma and Lily.
Grandma told us all about the lady of the lake and we waved.
Elise loved trying avocado and some of it actually went down! Emma was a big girl helper.
Scary monster face!
Auntie Pinky carried Elise for a nice walk to Fields Point!
Cozy on the couch with grandpa
Lily and Elise, playing around.
Party at grandma's
This past Tuesday grandma Connie had a special gathering at her house where all of the cousins and friends were able to finally meet the new babies of the past year ~ Bo 9 months, Elise almost 5 months and Lily 2 1/2 months. Emma (2 1/2) and Rocco (almost 3) were old pros and were so sweet to their newest family members. Many aunties, uncles and friends were also able to join for this fun affair. Ava, who is 3, was such a cutie with her beautiful red her; we can't wait to move close to have a play buddy for Elise! It is so much fun to see all of the different personalities in our kidos. I have to say though it is a whole different ball game trying to take photos of toddlers, I need a lot of practice.... poor Rocco isn't represented very well, he is always on the move at high speeds, hard to capture:) Thanks for such a great party.

Nothing like Bainbridge in the summer time
Evan and I have always loved loved loved going to Bainbridge Island - there is just something so serene about boarding the ferry and in thirty minutes feeling like you're away from the caos of city living. Wandering through Winslow and grabbing a bite to eat at Docs followed by ice cream at Mora, so delicious. Since Evan has been hidden away in the library, so proud of him for working his hiney off, Elise and I had a great afternoon with babicka L and dedecek P, mom and dad. It was absolutely a perfect day.
