seven months old

Our little sweet pea is growing up so quickly and is becoming the sunshine in our lives more and more every day.  Yesterday marked her seventh month, however it was a grouchy kind of day (lots of teeth coming in as you can see in the photos... perhaps explains the grouchiness, so we had to delay our photo shoot for a day).

Our Elise Ana is now an expert sitter and roller.  We often find her in one corner of the room, propped up against the wall unable to escape as she can only roll to the right:)  She smiles constantly and absolutely melts my heart with her yelps and screeches.   Yet to say anything close resembling mamma or dadda or anything else for that matter... but we are patiently waiting for something.

I have had the opportunity to stay at home with my babe for the past seven months, absolute joy and has been so special.  In less than two weeks I start work, three days a week, and Elise is going to be starting at a daycare with three other little girls (2, 3 and 3 months); hope she can show them what a big girl she is and not cry the entire time and hope my heart can handle it.

Love you Elise Ana.

A few more...

Absolutely love spending time with grandma, and greatgrandma to Elise.  It is so wonderful having her here.

Grandpa Terry stayed with us the past couple of days and Elise loved snuggling him on the sofa.

Happy Birthday Grandpa Terry!

Great Grandma Libuse is visiting from Brno, Czech Republic.  It is so wonderful having her here, Elise loves spending time with her.

chatting to her reflection

yummy & messy

We have a happy little eater... most things orange (carrots and sweet potatoes), bananas & avocados, and rice cereal!  All this eating comes as good timing since day care starts in two weeks.

Fun with Becky

Elise and I have had so much fun with Becky the past few weeks.... from trips to Chelan to hikes up the Icicle.  It couln't have worked out better to have this time off together and have the chance to enjoy Eastern WA summer with such great company.

girls weekend

While Evan was backpacking in the Napeequa Valley, Elise and I headed over to Seattle for a girls weekend with auntie Lucie and friends.  Ahhh it was wonderful to be over on the west side again, especially when the sunshine and ocean were so perfect.  I can see many more of these girls trips in the future.  Elise was a sweetie in the car, it seems as though we've grown out of the car tantrums... on to new challanges:)  Evan had a great time backpacking too... I am sure Quinn has great photos from the trip, can't wait to see.

Back yard photo shoot on Luna's bed.

I just couldn't choose which photos to cut out of this post....we love photos in this family:)

Elise loves Al... they have the red hair/blue eyes going and perhaps look more like mother/daughter :)
Lastly... Elise is surrounded by giraffes and LOVES to chew on the squeeky and plush ones equally!
