Thanksgiving, Round Two

We had our second, but really third or even fourth, Thanksgiving meal this past Saturday.  To be so close to our families, figuratively and now litterally, has been so wonderful and shows us that moving to Wenatchee has been the best move yet.

We just had the most wonderful visit with our dear friends, Allison & Travis, and their baby Violet.  These three are amazing and Elise just adores them, seriously exceptionaly lovey.  Perhaps it's the resemblance of pretty blue eyes are red locks:)

Nine months old

I cannot beleive we have a nine month old little peanut.  Our little baby is not so little any more, although the growth charts say otherwise (17 pounds 2 ounces, 20th%... 27.5 inches 50%, head circumference 95%).  She is one busy girl who is now crawling absolutely everywhere, pulling up onto furniture and starting to cruise around the sofa.  She has two big bruises and a scrape to show off her battle wounds from her new adventures.  We are just loving every new stage with our little girl.

Family Thanksgiving, Round One

This year we are celebrating with two turkeys and two of everything else that goes with to make the most delicious meal ever, how lucky are we.  This last weekend Lucie and Quinn came over to have our early holiday feast.  This was one special weekend as this was grandma's first fall here in the US and first Thanksgiving and birthday.  We had a joined birthday party for Quinn, mom and grandma and had the most special day. 

We will need to start doing this every year!  Happy Birthday.

weekend

We had a great weekend full of fun projects...

My parent's are adding on to their home, they say it's for Elise:)  It is so much fun seeing this addition growing each day and week.  We worked on the outdoor fireplace this weekend and cannot wait to use it this spring. 

Had a great afternoon in Leavenworth... Elise adores grandma and grandpa but I have to say she gives the loudest shrieks of joy when the doggies, Sadie and Carlie, are in her sight.

Putting up heat cables on the roof, grandma is a brave brave lady for climbing up there! 

birthday celebrations

I feel so fortunate to have these two ladies in my life.  Our friendship now crosses state borders and mountain passes but as cheesy at it sounds, there is no distance great enough to separate us in heart.  I love these two so much.  There is something so incredibly touching to have your dearest friends love your baby, makes you live for these moments. 

We celebrated Jesse's 30th birthday in Seattle this past weekend.  Jess flew in from LA and we all met for a fun celebration.  Happy Birthday my dearest Jessi!  Love You

Had a great dinner at Purple Cafe & Wine Bar.   Many special friends came to celebrate and made it an evening to remember.   This was also our (Evan and me) first night out as parents since Elise was born and Lucie and Quinn were kind enough to baby sit while we went out for a night on the town.
