potty on the go

For the past 6 months we have been working on potty training, and I think it's finally time to say we have a potty trained little girl.

My big girl, with big girl undies and her travel potty.

Not so much fun in sissy's baby stoller;)

a lovely Mother's Day

A special day with our special mommas to celebrate a love that is beyond words.

A little bit of lawn care ;)  but make sure to stay clear 50 ft!

I was spoiled and stayed in bed until 8am only to come out to buttermilk blueberry pancakes made by my loves.

These two buddies now sit side by side at Costco

Crazy and wonderful 6

Had a fun little adventure to Barn beach in Leavenworth today with dear friends Julie and Amy and their kiddos.  Amazed they were willing to sit semi still for a photo:)

Finn, Elise, Violet, Miles, Kate and Lola

These two cuties are only 2.5 months apart.

Summer is here

These two are welcoming the summer heat with baths, ice cream and many trips to the park.

Seattle getaway

We are so so lucky to have great places to stay in Seattle and we take full advantage.  This last weekend we spent Friday and Saturday night in our old neighborhood, Greenlake.  It was absolutely gorgeous weather and so we played at the Greenlake playground, visited with Allison and Lincoln, Lucie and my parents ~ it was lovely.

Horselake Road

It was so beautiful and green just a week and a half ago.

Finnegan 7 months

My sweet, gentle, handsome and serious boy, happy 7 months.  You and sister are sick with some bug once again and are pushing the sleep deprived limits of both mommy and daddy.  Despite this, even when sick, you are just the sweetest and most patient little (big) boy.  Your cry is even gentle.
This past month you have become a little explorer and your sparkly blue eyes scan the room for your sister or any fun toys constantly.  You LOVE to bounce in your bouncer, especially when someone is watching.  Although you seem so content and patient to lie on your back, you can roll from both tummy to back and back to tummy and are doing quite well turning and pivoting yourselft 90 degrees.  Your favorite is sitting up and playing with your sister, especially when she makes you laugh.

Your first month of real food has gone great.  Unlike your sister, you love to eat everything you've tried so far which includes sweet potatoes, peas, carrots, bananas, prunes and apples.  The only time you get a little angry is if we don't feed you fast enough;)

We love you so much Finnegan.

Sister LOVES you!!
