Annual Family Lake Chelan Week

Every year, mid July, Janie, Josh, Emma and Lily come to WA to visit.  It is such a long awaited, anticipated and special week.  This year it was more special than ever as the cousins were old enough to play together and have a wonderful time.   We had visits from Karen & Erik, Andrew, Jenni, Jesse and Mabel, as well as Katie and the boys which made it all the more special and fun.  Such an amazing place the cabin is as it holds so many memories for so many people and I feel so fortunate to be one of them.  Can't wait for next year!

Sweet Mabel (Emma and Lily's cousin)

You can't even tell these two finished a half Iron Man and Olympic Triathlon a few hours earlier, not only finish but Erik placed first in his age group and Karen did amazing as well!!!! So so impressed

Elise's beloved pose on the dock

Treat to have Katie stop by with the boys!!! They are getting so big.

Pouty faces but these two had smiles for a week straight!

Warming up in a warm tub

This little guy already somewhat tormented the girls by riding a toy bulldozer on their heads, slightly pulling on their hair... but mostly he was still little brother/cousin Finn with a mischievous grin:)

Eli's surgery

A month ago Elise had ear tubes put in and adenoids taken out.  She has been having trouble hearing due to significant fluid in her ears for the past year or so which has also led to difficulty with sleep and other things.   She was such a trooper during the whole process.  It was tough to have this little peanut fast until noon but once she got her special gown, hat and sedative "juice"  she had no reluctance to go back in with the nurse for the procedure.  When the nurse walked in to get her, Elise said "I like you"
and together they went to look at the "magic doors" to the OR.  Now a month later, she hears significantly better (TV is half the volume in was prior to surgery) and she can finally breathe through her nose!

Recovering

Once

Mom, Lucie and I went to see once early June and had a fabulous girls mini weekend.

Summer catch up

Summer is definitely here and before baby is here, I better catch up and document all that we have been up to.  We haven't left Wenatchee except for local adventures in the past two months but we have stayed busy.  From biking, visiting parks, beaches and pools to cool off, play dates with friends and fun around the house it has been such a special time to be at home with these two and take it all in.
