First trip to Seattle

We were all itching to get out of town, especially with the smoky weather, so last week during Evan's week off we spent a few days on the west side.  It was a fun and busy few days visiting the zoo twice, aquarium, Greenlake splash park, Alki beach, and our sweet nephew Owen, Lucie & Quinn.  Babi and deda watched Eli and Finn for a night while we even walked peacefully through UVillage and had a quiet lunch with a newborn.  Peter did fantastic and slept the entire way over the pass.

Peter's first bath

The first, although a third time around, is still a first and memorable.  Peter's first bath was filled with tears on his part and happy two little helpers from Elise and Finnegan.  

Peter Terrence Birth Day

Our precious little boy is here, now 5 days old, and we are so head over heels in love with him.  

Peter Terrence.... your name says it all.  You already represent your grandfathers so well in looks and sweetness.  You came into this world at noon sharp on Wednesday July 23rd.  We have been anticipating your arrival for quite some time as you gave us a little scare on Mother's Day showing signs you were ready to meet us quite early.  We are glad you decided to stay put until you were 38 weeks and 5 days old which made you the biggest little peanut out of your brother and sister at 8 lbs 7 oz.   Your mommy's labor started around 4 pm on Tuesday and 20 hours later you were here, I would have never though the third time around would take that long, but either way you are here. 

Your brother and sister adore you, and first thing each morning come running to see you and check on you.   There is no doubt one day very soon, the three of you will be running around causing wonderful mischief and fun.  

So far, in your first 5 days, you have an incredible sleep pattern, waking only every 3 hours, would be lovely if you would keep that up:)

We love you so much sweet Peter and are so happy that it is you that has made our family complete.
