Eli's first day of Pre-School

Our little sweet pea had her first day of pre-school last week.  Since the kids are no longer in daycare, she started at a new pre-school and will be going twice a week in the mornings.  She was a little nervous but her summer camp at the school made her feel more comfortable and she was even somewhat excited.  Drop off didn't even have any tears, helped that daddy dropped her off:)

I get to spend two of my mornings with just the boys, we shall see what trouble we get into without big sis.  Finn is already not sure what to do with himself without her!

San Juan Island Holiday

I don't know what year we are going on, either 11 or 12, of our annual San Juan Island vacation, but it is one of those things that gets even sweeter with time.  It is a special place all on its own, but add 4 little peanuts into the mix and it is absolutely crazy, chaotic, loud, adventurous, exciting, new and wonderful all in one.    This year it was especially fun to see Elise and Finn experience things for the first time and really be excited about it.  All week prior to our trip we talked about going on the big ferry boat and they were so so excited to load the boat and run around.  They loved to watch deda and Evan unload the crab from the crab pots and watch all the boats and sea planes take off from Roche Harbor marina.  It was so special to have more time with our sweetie Owen and snuggle him in between the chaos of chasing our three around.   Evan and I enjoyed a gorgeous kayak and dreamed and got inspired by all the beautiful architecture around the harbor and island.   It was just wonderful being all together in one place and already we cannot wait for next year.

Sometimes we fall into the thorns :(

3 babes at 1 month

Peter one month old

Our sweet baby Peter,
I cannot believe you are a month old.  This time around it truly feels like yesterday that we were just getting to the hospital and meeting you for the first time.  You are just about the best little boy there could be.  Growing so fast, especially in length.

2 month stats: Weight 9 lbs 10 oz & height 22.4"

Your cheeks and milk filled belly are filling in.  Your hair and eyes are still up for debate but I think they too will turn blue and blonde to match your siblings.    You were an angel of a sleeper the first two weeks but since then have started a habit of waking every 2 hours and struggling to fall back asleep, after all you are just one month old and following in the other's footsteps.

I want to cherish every moment with you as you will be my tiny little boy only for a little longer.

We love you so so much and love watching you grow.

Three amigos

I still cannot believe these blue eyed blondies are ours.  Their expressions in this photo are such good images of their personality almost exactly.

Little Peter is loved

Finnegan Michael 22 months

~ Our funny, sweet Finnegan Michael ~

I wish I could freeze you at this age forever, selfish as it may be, because I would laugh the rest of my life, you are that funny!  You love to be silly and make us laugh and you absolutely enjoy the response you get from doing so.  You know how to work a room and your smile is contagious.   You adore your big sister and now baby brother.  When Elise is not around you miss her like crazy and are almost lost without her and Peter you ask to see constantly, "see Peter".  You say Peter's name as if with a british accent, Peeder;)  You love to get dirty, wet and play outside.  You also unscrew, climb on, and take apart everything imaginable... I never knew what toddler proofing was until I met you!  You love cars, garbage truck, garbage cans, and firetrucks; a true boy.  Garbage day is your favorite day and we walk the neighbor hood to count the garbage cans.

Your vocabulary and pronunciation is the best thing in the world and wish I could remember your gibber gabber forever.

"Tefefone"
"Two minute"
"Bi Ump" Big Jump
"One Mo"
"Eese" Elise
"Peeder" Peter

"No, I do it"

You make our world full of smiles and laughter Finn and we adore you!

My little rascal

Elise Ana 3.5 years

~ My one and only little girl ~

You are so sensitive, compassionate and loving.  You adore your family, especially your brothers.  You are so careful and gentle with Peter and Finny you love to boss around and play with.  You are the best big sister they could have.

You are still a picky eater with your go to staple foods being pasta, bread without any visible seeds, pancakes, occasional chicken nugget and fish stick, cottage cheese, yogurt smoothies and peas.  Yet somehow you manage to grow and now weight 31 lbs.  Finnegan has almost caught up with you.

You have an incredible memory and I go to you often when I can't find something, as I know you will remember.  You love to bake and cook.  You also love to play with your baby dolls, make puzzles, read books, color, paint and do anything and everything crafty.  You start pre-school in 3 weeks, 2 days a week and you cannot wait.

You are very shy in new scenarios and meeting new friends although after a few visits and smaller groups you are a wild child and love to be the ring leader of games and mischief.  You have a bad habbit of biting your hair, nails and even the nails on your toes.  I haven't been able to stop these habits and thus haven't had to cut your nails on your hands since January.

You are so beautiful peanut and we love the sweet girl that you are.
