few more phone photos

Just a few more phone photos I don't want to forget from our trip to San Juan Islands.

Sharing a bed and snuggling:)

Last bits of summer with these three

Finally transferred  the thousands of photos on my phone to the computer and cleaned out much needed memory space on the phone so that it can once again function:)   Can't believe all three kids are noticeably bigger from the mid summer pics to now, going by too fast!

Elise absolutely LOVES being a big sis and holding Peter

Finn protested diapers so badly one day that we tried one of Elise's undies and he was in heaven.  This boy thinks he is ready to potty train... perhaps some boy undies are in order!

My dear friend Becky was in town for a visit :)

Eli's first day of Pre-School

Our little sweet pea had her first day of pre-school last week.  Since the kids are no longer in daycare, she started at a new pre-school and will be going twice a week in the mornings.  She was a little nervous but her summer camp at the school made her feel more comfortable and she was even somewhat excited.  Drop off didn't even have any tears, helped that daddy dropped her off:)

I get to spend two of my mornings with just the boys, we shall see what trouble we get into without big sis.  Finn is already not sure what to do with himself without her!

San Juan Island Holiday

I don't know what year we are going on, either 11 or 12, of our annual San Juan Island vacation, but it is one of those things that gets even sweeter with time.  It is a special place all on its own, but add 4 little peanuts into the mix and it is absolutely crazy, chaotic, loud, adventurous, exciting, new and wonderful all in one.    This year it was especially fun to see Elise and Finn experience things for the first time and really be excited about it.  All week prior to our trip we talked about going on the big ferry boat and they were so so excited to load the boat and run around.  They loved to watch deda and Evan unload the crab from the crab pots and watch all the boats and sea planes take off from Roche Harbor marina.  It was so special to have more time with our sweetie Owen and snuggle him in between the chaos of chasing our three around.   Evan and I enjoyed a gorgeous kayak and dreamed and got inspired by all the beautiful architecture around the harbor and island.   It was just wonderful being all together in one place and already we cannot wait for next year.

Sometimes we fall into the thorns :(
