Seattle adventures

This blog has become my little spot to record kiddo growth chart/photos rather than a "what we are up to" kind of place, however if anyone still does look at this site we do do things other than go to the doctor and take monthly photo shoots ;) 

I have been going on solo (kids and I) trips to Seattle to for some fun trips to the zoo, aquarium, the beach and to see our sweetie Owen.  This was a fun trip to Seattle two months or so ago.  The van has made life so much easier, especially when traveling, absolutely love it!

Our little love bug.  You are 3/4 to being 1 year old, how can that be?  

Happy 9 months Peter!

You are still a tall, lanky, wiggly and the most smiley little boy ever.  You appear so skinny but are almost out of 12-18 month clothes, all because your little body is so long.  You have been so so close to crawling for a few weeks now but in the past few days you have come oh so close that any day you will be on the move.   It is so fun to see you be able to reach for things and scoot around which allows you to somewhat play with your brother and sister.  You are so tolerant to their chaos, noise and frequent bumps.  You are once again drooling like crazy and your 6 teeth will soon become 8, and they are giant.... you have the biggest teeth out of your siblings.  You have stopped eating any baby food and now will eat only what everyone else is eating.    We absolutely adore you.

Peter 8 months

Oh sweet Peter, how we love you.  You are irresistible lately and are just the sweetest little boy.  To be completely honest you are the easy one at the moment and we always fight for who gets you vs. your brother and sister when it's bedtime or most any other time ;)  As long as you are fed and have napped you are a happy happy 8 month old.  Although the past few weeks you have had a cold that has been ongoing combined with cutting 4 top teeth you have had some tough moments and nights.  Two nights ago I drove all over Wenatchee with you at 11:30 at night to try to get you to fall asleep and thank goodness that only after about 5 minutes or so you fell asleep.  Overall you have been a much better sleeper, actually waking up only 2-3 times per night, drinking 4 oz and heading right back to sleep.  It feels amazing to be sleeping once again.  You are also on the move... reaching, rolling and scooting backwards.  You cannot wait to join Eli and Finn in their business of play.   You are getting so big and wearing 12-18 month clothes and I think just a centimeter or two shy of Finn & Eli's height at 1 year.

Peter 7 months

Peter you are just too cute with your two toothed grin and constant smile.  You have outgrown your bouts of crying/screaming and are a constant love bug.  You have started to recognize people and with that have become mommy's glue, which I love.  You are an old pro at sitting but now can reach and stretch out to many things in your not so near perimeter.  You still don't roll much, hardly at all but you are a wild jumper and bouncer.  You are now sleeping in your own room and crib and most nights are sleeping much better, only waking 3 or so times.  You wake up all smiles and soon after grunt to let us know you're ready for breakfast.  You are an excellent eater.  

We love you so much sweetie. 

Not sure which one of you will be more trouble?.... I think Finn will give you a run for your money:)

Elise Ana 4 years old

Our sweet sweet girl how could it be that 4 years ago you made us parents.  In some ways those 4 years feel like an eternity and I can't even imagine what life was life before you and in other ways these have been the fastest years ever.

You have transformed in front of our eyes this past year into a beautiful, smart, sensitive, compassionate, incredibly loving and silly "big" little girl.    You are full of commentary and ideas, saying silly made up words and trying to get everyone around you to participate in your funny games.   You LOVE to do anything and everything crafty and could paint, color, draw and cut all day long.  You love company and to play with others, not so much on your own so thank goodness you have two little built in playmates that just think the world of you.   You love going to school, now three days a week, and come home with all kinds of projects and fun facts.  You also grew to really like soccer with your buddy JP, while Finn and Lucy tagged along, though there were tears for the first 3 classes.   Your food intake is about 1/4 of your brother's yet you still manage to grown tall and skinny.

You are our sweet sweet girl.
