Happy Halloween

Our little rock star & little monster.  

We trick or treated at the law firm again with all the other little kiddos this year.  Elise still is a little unsure about the whole process and was satisfied with two pieces of candy in her bag so kept telling everyone she didn't want any more, silly girl... we need to practice for next year.   I'm sad our new house had ZERO trick or treaters unlike our little rental last year.  I guess when these two are old enough to get it, we will be heading somewhere fun.

Beautiful Fall day

This mid October day could have not been more gorgeous... the colors, temperatures in the 70s, not a breeze in the air.  We are in awe every time we go down to the river and pinch ourselves that we live half a mile walk from this beauty.  

I am a little pictures obsessed... I just could not cut any out.

Someone is in love with her baby Owen.... When I asked Elise what her favorite part was about Finn's party, she said baby Owen :)  Truly.

We had a deadline to get the house to somewhat presentable shape, to get it party ready by this weekend.  It was a full week of little preperations: cleaning, last minute paining, picture hanging, outlet changing... and of course party decorating and cooking.  Sometimes it helps to have a little pressure, or a deadline, to get things done. 

Finn's party turned out wonderful!!! Full of amazing friends and family all gathered to celebrate our little boy.   He was a stud in tie and suspenders:)
