Christmas lights

Brrrr.... it has been so cold outside with high temperatures not breaking the upper 20's sometimes.  Last weekend, before it got too cold, we enjoyed some music and lights in Leavenworth.  Finn loves to dance and as soon as he heard the holiday carolers in the gazebo he started to dip and rock side to side.  Seeing Christmas through the eyes of these two is truly what the holidays, or life for that matter, is all about it, we love it.  Let the countdown begin.

Happy Thanksgiving

We celebrated a week early with family, delicious food and oh so much to be thankful for.  It was lovely, despite the flu bug some of us had and turns out passed on to others:(  Feel truly feel so lucky to be blessed with such love from family and friends in our lives.

Finnegan's 1st Haircut

Our little baby is a baby no more with his new big boy haircut, I think even grandpa Terry is winking down in approval.  It also seems like Finn has inherited deda Petr's hair that is straight as nails making it stand up in all directions.  Babi did a great job with his first haircut, and even though it was her first time with a squirmy little boy, she has cut my, Lucie's and deda's hair many times before.

It has been months since he has snuggled and fallen asleep on me, it was wonderful.

Seattle trip

Had a wonderful trip to Seattle to spend time with Owen and visit dear friends.  Jaclyn and I had our first one on one date since perhaps Elise and Finn were born and I can't even write how needed and amazing time with this special girl was.   Baby Owen is getting so big and the two weeks since we've seen him last he has changed and grown so much, such a cutie.
