Happy 2nd Birthday to our Elise

Elise Ana ~ Happy 2nd birthday!

Our baby girl, we are so proud of your charming, witty, mischievous, sweet, patient and caring personality.  We (daddy and mommy) brag to each other how you are the perfect blend of sweet and trouble.  Your vocabulary is growing exponentially, using up to 4 word phrases -

"Wove you"
"Thas bettle" (That's better)
"I like it, bagel"
"One mo cookie, las one"
"Daddy do it"
"wight here, kiss it"
"mo chase"
"popoo, yucky"
"Hurray" (when you go potty)
"watch, Go Go" (Cat in the Hat)
"mommy, sit wight here"
"mommy.... puuuushhhh" (when you want me to get away)
"I do it"
"Dobri" (Good in Czech)
"Huci" (Lucie)
"Trabit" (Travis)

Your understanding in Czech is equal to that of English, although your speech is a little slower (mommy needs to work on that, as does babi, deda and Lucie).

You eat only pasta, cheese, crackers, cookies, bagels, bread, cereal and yogurt.

You love to play with your baby dolls, making them go night night all times of the day.  Lately your baby dolls must have been misbehaving as I have seen you be quite stern with them saying "skootch over, no night night, eyes close, lie down" with quite a stern voice:)

You love the doggies in your life - Sadie, Carlie, Luna and Lulu.

Your teacher at daycare, Miss Theresa, is your favorite and you are excited to see her when we go.  Your friends at school: Peter, Ashur, Cassie, Riley and Morgan are your buddies.

You are waking up every night between 3-6 am, eat a strawberry Nutrigrain bar, drink a cup of milk and go back to bed until 7:30/8 am.

You love bedtime routine, reading books, but mostly singing with baby brother as he lies beside you.

Your two hair twirls, callucks, spin your hair in opposite directions and make for a feathery mess since you despise any hair pins or elastics in your hair.  Absolutely adorable.

You LOVE your baby brother and are such a good big sister.  You have learned to be gentle, and have only bitten him two or three times.  You always say "Finn, cwy" when he is crying and you rush to console him and make sure he is ok.  Often, your first word in the morning is "look Finn, sleeping".

You love your grandparents and spending time at their homes.  Last month you spent three nights at grandma Connies and three nights and babi and deda's; I don't think you wanted to come home after all that fun.  But I missed you so so much.

We love you more and more every day and feel honored and so blessed to have you as our own.  Happy Birthday beautiful girl.
